My work incorporates installation, sculpture and photography. Within these mediums I use a wide range of found objects. I am especially interested in the use of multiples of objects and the idea that in a series of mass produced items, no two will be identical. My 3D installation work has been focused on human emotions and fears, grief, death and relationships. I explore the suspension of some of my works, allowing the onlooker to view the pieces from all angles-something that cannot be done with actual human emotions. I have recently completed a series of works based on parts of conversations overheard from my room. I plan to continue with my practice as an individual, building on what I am learning within my degree course and also as a founding member of the Exeter based artist's collective, seventeen08.
