Over the last 12 months I have looked at nature’s creation of materials, how animals and insects use materials to create shelter and nests as well as man’s disposal of materials and evidence of pollution in the environment.

I am currently exploring materials and resource use, also the relationship man has built with these materials and their use (e.g. fish traps, management of natural resources, coppicing, hedge layering etc.).

I hope to bring the issue of resource use and depletion to the attention of a wider audience and hope to promote an intelligent response to materials use and resource conservation.
