As a conceptual Artist, my last work was presented on Weston Super Mare beach, as a site specific piece about memories and childhood. I usually use fabric in one way or another, I often use print and craft skills such as knitting, crochet, embroidery and appliqué. I am interested in the complexity that sewing and textile skills bring to the work, looking at the long tradition of domestic feminity that embroidery and sewing skills comply as described in The Subversive Stitch by Parker.
